Tonight CUSTODIANS A Story of Ancient Echoes took home four awards at this years

Saskatchewan International Film Festival. Best Documentary, Best Cinematography, Best Director and Best Musical Score.

CUSTODIANS A Story of Ancient Echoes was just selected to the

RNCI Red Nation International Film Festival in Los Angeles, California.

America's largest women-led Indigenous Film Festival!

 

 

CUSTODIANS A Story of Ancient Echoes (June 24th, 2023 Announcement)

 

CUSTODIANS A Story of Ancient Echoes was just selected to the Montreal Independent Film Festival, the Regina International Film Festival and Awards, and was awarded a Canadian Cinematography Award for Best Documentary.

This is only the start of our submission to festivals and we are so excited to receive such positive early feedback.

AWÀSISAK OUR FUTURE (September 20th, 2022 Update)

We are excited to share that Awasisak Our Future won an Impact Docs Award at the Impact Docs Film Competition in San Diego, California and an Achievement Award at the Docs Without Borders Film Festival.  We're also grateful to selections to the Central Alberta Film Festival in Red Deer, the Red Nation International Film Festival in Los Angeles, and New West Film Fest in New Westminster, British Columbia. Congratulations to producers Dr. Patricia Makokis, Janice Makokis, and everyone in this production including our amazing film participants.

PREMIERE: CUSTODIANS - A Story of Ancient Echoes (2022)

Rebel Sky Media had a special draft premiere of a new commissioned film "Custodians - A Story of Ancient Echoes"

in Saskatoon on May 21st, 2022. This is an important story about treaty, reconciliation, community building and reconnecting Indigenous communities to their sacred lands, sites and medicines.

More details on the public release of this film coming soon.
