At Rebel Sky Media we believe in the power of local cinema, celebrating local stories. We love the journey of bringing these stories to the independent cinema, to make space not just for Hollywood superheros but for the every day elders, teachers and changemakers on our very own streets. We want to make space for local representation and reflect the diverse stories of our community by bringing those to big screens or small screens with style and heart! 

Part of our vision includes telling the stories of peacebuilders from around the world and doing so  with a nonviolent justice and conflict transformation lens. By invite, we frequently work closely with individuals and communities to bring local stories to wider audiences. We especially love this kind of commissioned documentary approach that allows for variety of ways to collaborate with local and grassroots communities.
